★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know you are reading this review because you are waiting for the Visa to arrive and never visited this link before booking your tickets.
Tourist Visas take less than 10-12 days across all AU embassies across globe. My friends applied for a Tourist Visa providing more than required documents and got the Visa approved exactly after one calendar month from date of submission. Another friend applied from Dubai and got it in 4 days. If there are more applicants, you need more staff simple. In-Efficiency gets people's money on stake. Usually when travelling to other countries no one checks Tourist visa processing dates if self booked, they'll just book the flights and hotels. Later you understand that it takes 30+ days to apply visa through AU India embassy based in New Delhi. No communication, no responses, just keep checking the same status online. I would say very poor service and a typical Indian way of disrespecting travelers/customers by hanging them around with lot of dependencies. This embassy truly needs to improve and fast track services through efficient ways. Else so many Indians living in Australia will never invite their family and friends to visit AU. We had a terrible experience in following up and checking status, luckily got the Visa exactly 8 days before the travel dates, we were just about to reschedule the complete trip. Suggest book tickets after you get Visas.

I lodged subclass 500 student visa on 7 September 2020 for my PhD at Australia and my commencement date is 9 February 2021. I have applied at the same time with one of my country mate who also got phd offer in the same university. He got his visa on December 2020, but I still have not received any outcome. Together, we arranged the required documents at the same time and checked properly so that we can avoid the delay. But I don't know why it happens with me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such rubbish people running it , they do not answer at all I have been trying from weeks , if they finally answer after two weeks the the don’t help, Don’t USE this office , I am from Australia this does not happen or excepted at all , VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE RUNNING THIS embassy seems like some dum people are at the front giving us a bad name , they should be sacked asap . Looks like staff is commenting on google to fix there mistakes, which is not getting fix ,I will be requesting that to higher authority’s .
