Breach of trust..the first thing which comes to my mind for Autonation. Let me.explain the incident so that prospective buyers can think before approaching this dealer. I bought a Honda City Ivtech 2011 model from them in Dec2020. At the time of purchase the odometer reading was 42567. After sending the car for routine checkup at Pinnacle Honda, I was shocked to know that the odometer is tampered, correct odometer was 65000. As a customer, we all know while purchasing a pre-owned car, we can't expect evrything to be right but tampering odometer is a breach of trust and absolutely unethical. Eager to hear from Autonation team as I have raised this serious concern with them. Thank you so much for your reply. As you have tried to divert the actual matter by passing a derogatory remarks "extort" for a customer, bought a product from you recently. You, being a subject matter expert should have taken utmost care during selling a car to your customer as they have blind faith on you. Let me reply your points 1. In my post, I have neither mentioned that the car has technical issues, nor have raised any concern on your delivery part. 2. Referring to our whatsapp interaction, please highlight the portion where my intent is to extort. This is a derogatory remark and in service industry such comments towards a customer should be condemned. 3. As a customer, it's not my lookout to check the authenticity of your supply chain. Being a trustworthy player in pre owned car market, rather it is expected that you will have this checked before selling to a customer. Trust u agree odometer tampering is unethical and can't shy away from your responsibilities by passing the buck to vendor. That's your internal process fault. 4. Instead of finding out the root cause and being apologetic, you tried to be offensive, saying derogatory remarks and threatening to file a defamation case against a genuine buyer. My dear friend, please try to address the problem so that you can win-back a customer confidence rather than being rude. Good evening ... Let me share a perfect specimen of becoming a satisfied customer from an irate customer. A true example of customer experience offered by Team Autonation.
