I have an Axis Asap account which is a zero balance account opened 2 years back everything was going well they were charging their necessary charges,SMS charges , which I had been paying. I had paid debit card fees also last year.As there is a lockdown due to COVID 19 and there is a moratorium given by govt.I was surprised that an amount of Rs 590/- was debited from my account towards card renewal without my knowledge. I submitted a request for defered payment for the same at the home branch asked for the reversal for the same.....I was informed that I need to maintain a balance of Rs 10k since Axis Asap account is no longer a zero balance account I asked them to give it in writing. But no one was willing. My only concern is how can a bank do such a thing during this pandemic crisis ....the amount looks to small but it does make a difference... Please guys know the facts before getting fooled ....

Axis Bank Mahavir Nagar is a lousy branch. Sorry to write, but the quality of service has deteriorated in the past 4-5 years, going bad to worse. There is complete disconnect between front-end & back-end operations of the branch. Routine banking tasks such as address change such as , cheque book requests take months to complete. Priority RMs take the phone number (as if it isn't there in their records), they never call back. They don't even pick phone when you call them. At the branch, a handful of people are actually working, while the manager is indifferent to customer's visit to the branch, sitting cosily in his chair.

Fixed Deposit created from App. Matured on 21st September, auto renewed by default. I closed the Deposit on 28th September. Instead of giving the whole amount back in savings account, it deducted roughly 1% of the FD as a penalty. Which world you people are living in?

WORST BANK AND THE STAFF AT THIS BRANCH. MY REQUEST TO ACITVATE ACCOUNT IS PENDING FOR MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AND THE STAFF ARE LEAST BOTHERED TO HELP.

This is the worst branch ever. In my entire life, I have never faced such a bad banking experience. 1. Account opening takes more than a week (still not fully functional). 2. From last two days unable to deposit cash in account (unbelievable). 3. Initially they asked for few major documents (Aadhar, Pan, Passport etc), later several other documents needed. 4. Slower than any other bank. 5. They don't understand meaning of emergency. 6. I'm giving one start because can't give less than this.

Very poor service. Phone numbers given for the branch connect you to the call center. Call center reps do not have the corrected branch phone numbers or email address. During the pandemic times when customer want to proceed with online banking they are asked to visit the branch. Highly disappointed to be associated with this bank.

While opening account they accept everything, but on reKYC they find fault with name on passport and name on account. Told them system is for customer and customer is not for system. RM are more interested in latkana. atkana bhatkana to a customer.

Pathetic experience. I had asked for closure of bank account of my mother due to her demise and its been a month and axis bank has not closed it. The contact number for Mahavir nagar branch is not working and customer care is clueless. You will have to go to the branch multiple times for closure of account. I have also escalated this on Facebook and facebook messenger and also on customer care email still no response. I will be complaining to nodal offier now and seek compensation for deficiency in services.
