★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wrost hospitality treatment with paitent , once dr said that no need to admit the paitent into the emg ward , after few min another Dr said admit to the emg ward for 24hrs monitoring . Attende open business into the Hospital . I can't understand what's going on in govt hospital . And again another day once dr said what happened to this paitent ,when he admitted . One imp thing is that the attendent who takes care of the paitent thaken money from us none of them wher mask in( COVID ward IV). Cleanliness wrost 0/10. My suggestion is that don't believe in govt hospital .They kill your patient ,and one dr ranna (neuro)dep ,he open away business in hospital .wrost hospitality

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's Life line of every railway employee, not only railway out side only referred case entertained. Many patent party stay night at emergency who come from far ( even BIHAR).. No ladies (patient party) allowed in night.. There are dormitory but with limited availability .
1) follow Aaya concept 150 per shift for better service
2) offer services more than its resources comprising Govt hospital.
3) lack of professionalism due to Govt employees specially Sisters and other support staff
4) no dedicated help desk or doctors meet scheduled
5) Even security RPF at Gate treat patient's party as unwanted burden.
Parking is big problem of this hospital.. Even patent / employees having own car / Bike not allowed.. Out side parking either in Sealdah Station or big bazaar which is very inconvenience due to heavy congested area.

BRIEF HISTORY OF B. R. SINGH HOSPITAL
B. R. Singh Hospital is named after Baba Ramrik Singh, the First Agent of East Bengal Railways in the Pre-Independent Era and established in the Year 1934.It was established in the form of Health Unit to serve the employees of the Traffic Department of Railways of Eastern Region.
B.R Singh Hospital , the Head Quarter Hospital and Research Centre of Eastern Railway is unique because of its excellent contributionin the fields of patient care and management, industrial and public health management including family welfare activities, as well as excellent academic contributions to the field of medicine at both National and International levels. Excepting Medical Colleges, all such services are seldom provided by even top corporate hospitals in Kolkata.
It is one of the few Hospitals where specialist senior doctors (IRMS & Sr. Resident) are present in the hospital round the clock in the fields of Emergency, Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, Anesthesiology and Cardiology.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother was admitted here for more than 15days due to chest infection, the funny part comes after discharge we got to know her infection increased,and she Also got urine infection,upset stomach, and breathing problem as well,and constant high fevers,in short she wasn't treated properly . The nurses doesn't care about a person's age , or respect. They love to insult the patient and their family members,they always behave like they are working there without any salary. And the doctors never clearify the patient health condition. And the "Masi" gang controls the whole system of the hospital. If your don't pay the they will not give any facilities no matter how bad your condition is.the masi gang and the nurses work hand by hand.
Not only my father , each and every railway employee dedicates their entire life for their work, but in return they receive poor pention , poor medical facilities and insult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doctor's are very good but behaviour of the ward boys are worse. Earlier it was much more cleaned than what it is today.
Doctor's need to meet the patient parties in the chamber so that patient parties can speak sitting in a comfortable zone and clear their doubts, instead they have to wait outside the gate for a longer time and whenever doctor comes out everybody becomes restless and in a hurry to know the condition of the patient. As a result doctor's become irritated and in most of the cases good, gentle patient parties do not get proper feedback of the patient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hospital is for Railway staff which located near to the sealdah railway station. Staff are very cooperative, many hospital refer this hospital as bst treatment for railway staff and hospital canteen is also there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hospital is only for Indian railways stuffs and their families. I had to admit one of my relatives their who was Covid infected in serious condition. We almost lost our hope but she was recovered within 2 weeks. The treatment was good. Doctors and Nurses keep monitoring the patient. Only drawback is the aaya(care taker) will take 450 rupees unofficially on daily basis which is totally disgusting.
