★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chandrapur Fort (formerly Chanda Fort) is the oldest area in Chandrapur. This fort is situated at the confluence of Irai and Zarpat rivers. It was built by Gond King Khandkya Ballal Sah in 13th century. It has four gates, in clockwise order, Jatpura Gate, Anchaleshwar Gate, Pathanpura Gate, Binba Gate and four windows - Bagad Khidki, Hanuman Khidki, Vithoba Khidki, Chor khidki.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area is directly connected to main city which is nice, but the roads in this area are not good at all they are having less width always there is jam like situation, having so much speed breakers, congested area and not good to use that way to go main city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place over a past few years have seen good development but it needs more attention from officials such as, keeping nallas (drainage) around this area cleaned and building a side wall around the lake adjacent to this place.
Also the water of the lake is spoiled proper measures must be taken to ensure its not polluted by locals around this place.
