★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This market is bit congested but you can get several shops for garments , cosmetics, grocery, vegetables and snacks counter. Price is reasonable and you can get special discount during Durga Puja and Chaitra Sale. Monday is weekly off and market time is 10 am to 9.30 pm.

You can buy sankar, hilsha (ilish) boal and lots of variety. All kinds of vagetables are also available. Mostly the behaviour of the sellers. They are good human beings. If you go outside the market you will get more rural hawkers with fresh veggie and rural items. Visit to enjoy shopping.

You can get almost all kinds of veggies, fishes,meat, grocery items etc. I would say this marketplace better than other marketplaces in here. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend for fish and vegetables are quite good and fresh here and it's almost always available. Readymade garment shops, cosmetics etc. are available inside. They have a temple inside the marketplace also. Every Monday it is closed. It is open from 7am to 10 pm. In this marketplace you'll get wholesalers to buy from. Not so clean inside but better than other marketplaces. Only faults are this place don't have free drinking water facilities inside & parking lot outside.
Specially mention: Entrance is wheelchair accessible. Packaged mineral drinking water bottles available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A all found market at the far end of south kolkata. It is on Raja S C Mullick Rd, at Baghajatin bus stop.
From structural view, it is in poor and unorganized conditions. Vendors and buyers increasing every day, street gets blocked. No parking facilities at any time of the day.
But prices are, certainly, less in comparison to other nearby markets. Excellent and average quality, both are available there.
It is closed in the evening.
