Here you can get fresh water fish , sea water fish , frozen fish and other things like গুগলি , গেঁরি । There is one mutton - shop and one chicken - shop inside the market.

The only road in front of the market is relatively narrow and busy resulting in frequent traffic congestion. This fish market is located in a open market area and hence, is adjoining to the vegetable market and grocery shops. However, traffic congestion and absence of parking facilities is a big setback.
