The Temple is the perfect quintessentials of developing stage of Kalingan Architecture.
By design one can see the vimana and jagamohana are pancharatha on plan and in elevation the vimana has panchanagabada with curvilinear superstructure and the jagamohana is of pyramidal superstructure.
