★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Balgandharva kaladalan - It is an art gallery showcasing of wonderful paintings and other arts. Most of time it is free to see the exhibition.
Mind can be fresh after seeing such wonderful paintings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the play. neat and clean premises. If planning to commute by 4 wheeler, try to reach much ahead of show time as getting parking space us challenging. .
And yes, nce you are in, don't miss vada and tea during the break!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for marathi culture and plays to watch out for.. but immense amount of mosquitoes in the area and hall. Please wear mask if you don't like mosquito coils.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bal Gandharva Ranga Mandir is a drama theatre with an auditorium and exhibition hall located in Shivajinagar area of Pune, India. It is named after Marathi singer and stage actor, Bal Gandharva.
Pu. La. Deshpande, the popular writer and humourist of Maharashtra was instrumental in the formulation of idea for this drama theatre.
Pune Municipal Corporation, the civic body of Pune, owns the theatre. The theatre is located near Sambhaji Park in Pune. It is one of the most important cultural destinations in Pune City. Apart from the plays, many cultural, educational, social and corporate, along with other seminars and exhibitions are also conducted in the auditorium and in exhibition hall which is on the upper floor of the premises.

You can enjoy plays and other programs. Ac theater and seats are really comfortable. Bal gandharva is one of the attractions of pune and it is located on JM road.
You can enjoy food while watching play. You can book tickets online.

Only good thing was the play & water cooler was working ?
Parking - enough but no management
Washrooms - unclean - 1*
Canteen - 2*
वडापाव 20 , चहा 10, चिप्स 20, water bottle - 20
Interval मध्ये तुडुंब गर्दी.. due too poor management.
Taste - 1*
Chairs were clean but surrounding was full of mosquitoes.
Carry mosquito repellant if you want to enjoy your time!
Wear atleast 3-4 Masks for washroom ?
