β β β β β Food here is really good but what they lack in, is the treatment they give to customers. If there is a group of 4-6 people, they are very attentive but if there are only two people, you are left on your own mercy. We had to ask water as waiter was busy serving group, we were given table which was tucked in the corner of the restaurant. There was a mosquito and I informed the waiter about it but she was least bothered to do anything about it. Three stars for inhospitality and non-cooperative staff. Not stepping in the restaurant again.

β β β β β Good place to dine out on South Indian food. Quality of food is nice and quantity is wholesome. I had tried Kottige Idli which come rapped in a leaf with gun power chutney. It was taste some thing different. Rasam Wada was awesome. Rasam was very tasty. Regular dosa as well as Murugun gun powder dosa was awesome too. Coffee was ok, not to my expectation, or not at par if compared with South Indian specialty place called 'Ramashray' Matunga. Well but that does not diminish Banana Leafs own flavour and authenticity. The place is really nice. Well, ambience is good too, quite big place. Its not much expensive, like 300/- to 500/- per person is not bad. Overall, the typical south Indian coffee should be improved, else there is nothing short of 5 starts.

β β β β β Absolutely love this place for authentic South Indian food!
This place was originally on the ground floor and now shifted to first floor.
Tried the Rajni dosa and Rava masala dosa. The Rajni dosa was superb! The chutneys and sambhar was yum as well! The rava masala dosa was brought cold to the table and hence requested them for heating and they did the same! Otherwise the service and everything was great

β β β β β Food was tasty and medium to high price food. Not much parking. Plenty of seating. Didn't have to wait for a table. Good service. A thali took 15 mins to arrive but each item in the thali tasted right. No complaints.
