★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered paani puri and cheese chilli masala dosa, both the items were really good, paani puri tasted quite good though simple yet rich in taste, only minus point i felt is that the price for 1 plate paani puri is too high, cheese chilli masala dosa was also very good, it felt like a different kind of experience.
I most visit or order at home from versova branch but this one is also good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good ambience, good quality, authentic south Indian dishes. If one wants to try authentic south indian delicacies, do visit this place. We had Murugan Dosa, Rice Idli, Thuppa Masala dosa and Rava Kesari Sheera. Woww! All were superb and yummy. Pls pls pls try Rava Kesari Sheera, it is ammmazing. The staff was courteous. They also give Paan before u leave, which is like cherry on the cake. U will find enough waiting outside, as there is always rush. Bcoz it's a must visit place.
Visited this place again. I had Rajani Dosa and Akrod Halwa. I recommend these two dishes, both are yummy. Loved it. My fav place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This branch of banana leaf is not at all concerned about their customers.
In fact they know how to make their customers wait for the menu card. We got the menu card after ten minutes and post that the dirty table was cleaned.
Their priority is to serve customers who come in large groups.
Slow service and not at all customer friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for people looking for best south Indian dishes especially Rava masala dosa, Tatte Idli and authentic filter coffee. Apparently prices are little expensive however it's in Juhu so doesn't matter. And Paisa wasool for quality and taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great south Indian food and the only place with good satiating food around SNDT. We often good there or order from banana leaf to eat after college. The coconut chutneys and sambar are really delicious too.Things which we ordered where

And filter coffee(a trip to banana leaf without filter coffee adhuri lagti hai :)

Recommend that you try their mushroom Sukka!
Rava dosa with aloo on the side was not bad but there was no place to keep chutney and bowls were not served
The Thuppa Dosa was Khatta or sour and I did not really relish it
The chutneys were good but I have had better sambhar
There is a Chaat Attack serving Chaat and we ordered while we waited for our table
Recommend their dahi papdi but avoid their aloo sev pani poori
The rasam quality seems to have dropped as well

This place gives you the taste of authentic south indian cuisine in Mumbai. It's situated in a crowded area but once you're inside it's very calm and serene. The interiors are fabulous.
I had vegetable uttapam and idlis over here for a quick breakfast and it was very delicious. It's served along side chutneys and sambhar refills.
The place also has other varieties of fast foods and other north indian quick bites like chats.
Must visit highly recommended 5⭐
