One of the newest opend restaurant in Santacruz.. Best place to visit if you like retro theme. As the name suggest the place has the retro theme and decor which makes you feel like you are in the 90's... I recently visited the place and I must say I enjoyed the visiting the place. The service is top notch and the ambience will surely delight your mood. Now coming on to the food. The menu of this place is quite good and as decent amount of options to choose from. So here is what we ordered for .... Starter. Loaded nachos. Loaded with yellow cheese and veggies. The taste was good and the nachos were crispy. Spicy corn samosa. The combination was good and the taste of corn goes well with the samosa. A bit spicy but worth giving a try. Harissa fish. The fish was properly marinated and was properly cooked. The green chutney served with the fish goes well. Drinks. Orea and me . It was a orea milkshake. Dark chocolate upside down. It was a chocolate milk shakes but with the twist if pineapple juice. The combination was unique and so was the taste. Badshahi. This drink is surely for for a king and the taste was rich in royal flavour. It was loaded with cashew nuts Almonds pistachios raisins. Dessert. Chocolate tart. Rating Food 4/5 Service 4/5. Ambience 5/5. Value for money 4/5. For more food updates follow my Instagram page @food_allies.

If you are looking out for old school international hits from the 80s and 90s, then this is the best place for you to party and hangout. There are very few places in Mumbai that play old school music, every place is buzzing with the latest numbers, but not this one. They also have Bollywood Karaoke night on one of the days. They do not have a vast menu but they have stuck to mainly tapas, bar nibbles and entrees. True to it’s name, they have created a retro ambiance. Outside the restaurant you will find a 70’s styled colourful scooter. Upon entering, the place is dim lit, with decor consisting of small Vinyl records hanging on the walls, photo frames of bands and singers from 90’s. The best place to enjoy some Backstreet Boys or Elvis Presley music. Coming to my dining experience, I was served the entire time by Akshay who was sweet and friendly. The food took some time to arrive though. Here’s what I ordered. * Dark Chocolate Upside Down : The mocktail looked pretty thought the taste is a sweet and sour due to pineapple juice added. * Yogurt Berry : Tall glass filled with yoghurt and berry syrup. This one was yummy. * Magherita with Spinach & Mushroom : The usual Margherita but with spinach and mushroom added. I loved the combo. The base is thin crust which I liked. * Chicken Hummus : Soft pita breads served with dollops of hummus and 2 quenelles of chicken kheema served by the side which were tasty together. You can order this one to start off. * Lemon Basil Chicken : For the Entree we ordered this plate of yummy chicken breasts cooked with lemon and basil. Served with smooth and creamy potato mash and veggies. I loved this dish. * Zebra Torte : They do not have a list of desserts to offer but you can ask for the dessert of the day. I was served with Zebra Torte pastry which was a sweet end to my meal. Bon Apetit!!

This place packs a lot of positive vibes and with its retro feel, doesn't cease to hound you with some great music and food. We also got to see The Vanilla Duo perform live. Fantastic set of songs performed.

The place is no more Old Time's sake but now renamed as Shore. The ambience was ok, cosy for small group. Food options are too limited hence won't suggest the place for hangout. I would prefer to visit like jughead's or poptates where they have more food options and also options in drinks, plus Happy hours are missing at this place

How I wish I would have visited this place earlier! ? This place is located just opp. to Santacruz Police Station which makes it easy to locate. If you are a fan of 90's, you shouldn't miss this place at all! The interiors and stuffs are retro themed making it look quirkier and attractive! ♥️ Absolutely loved it! We went there in the month of Dec. Old Bollywood songs were being played and it was quite a soothing moment..! Now coming to food.. they have limited options! But the food is absolutely amazing.. all the dishes which we tried were perfectly yumm! We ordered verdure pizza, batata harra, jalapeno poppers, penne pasta and one more dish and some beer. I'm definitely in love with their presentation and their quirky looking plates! Verdure Pizza was not bland but really tasty, penne pasta was average, jalapeno poppers was really good while batata harra took my heart away!

Amazing music selection. Food menu is limited but good. A great place to catch up with friends in the evenings. Just order some drinks and soak in some great classic rock and disco from the yesteryears like U2, Robbie Williams, Michael Jackson. They have different events all week like retro night, karaoke. Friendly and prompt service. Food is good and servings are decent enough.

Its rare to find a place which primarily plays classics of 70s, 80s and 90s. You may come across Retro Nights, but an entire restaurant theme based on those times! One such place is Old Times' Sake located at Santacruz West, Off Linking Road! The place serves Italian and Continental dishes. Relatively new place which opened in August. It has approx 10 tables with seating capacity of 50 odd people. It can accommodate large groups as well. We visited the place on a dry day so there was no alcohol served. The bar was serving mocktails which we tried. Talking about what we tried at Old Times' Sake - We started with appetizers - Loaded Nachos, Spicy Corn Samosa, Drunken Paneer and Mushroom al Ajillo. For me personally the best of all was Drunken Paneer,Β beer battered paneer with homemade dip. Taste was good and something different from other restaurants. Would recommend others to also try. Next in line for me was Loaded Nachos. Tortilla chips were nice and crisp. Decent amount of sour cream, salsa Sauce, cheese and garnish. Nachos also had beans which gave a nice twist to the flavour. Being a mushroom fan, I was excited to try Mushroom al Ajillo, which wasΒ sauteed mushrooms with garlic and paprika. Served along with garlic bread. It was average in taste. MushroomsΒ  used had a strong flavour. Lastly Spicy Corn Samosa which was fried samosa with red pepper rouille, again average for me in taste. To go with food, we called for fewΒ  mocktails - Baadshahi which was vermicelli and chia seeds along with mava in saffron milk topped with dried fruits and Kulfi. All of it was nice, just felt that Kulfi was frozen. Somehow could feel chunks ice while biting into it. Next tried The dark side which had lime chunks, fresh mint leaves, blackcurrant syrup and some blackcurrant sprinkled on crushed ice topped with sprite. Those who like fizzy drinks should go for this one. Next had the Dark Chocolate Upside Down. It was on bitter side rather than sweet since it had dark chocolate in it along with roasted hazelnut syrup mixed with pineapple juice and topped cream. A good combination and those who are fine with bitter dark chocolate. Last but not the least, tried the Yoghurt Berry mocktail - Strawberry topping along with yoghurt milk! Those who are fans of flavoured yoghurt must try this one. Just too good! Finally moving towards the mains we tried couple of dishes - Paprika Veggie and Penne Mama Rossa. I preferred the Red Sauce pasta penne made in tomato and cream sauceΒ  served garlic bread. Paprika Veggie was herb rice served with herb rice, paprika sauce with plenty of veggies! Decent in taste. They didn't have many options for dessert, the only one available was Chocolate cake loaded with some chocolate sauce! They do need to add more desserts to their menu. All-in-all a good different experience, especially because of the music and good food. In case in Santacruz West, do try this place once.

I was really disappointed with this one. As per the reviews this place was supposed to set a really chill kinda old school feel. The music was supposed to be all classics. But it turned out all opposite. The music was really load, almost inhibiting conversation and they were typical bollywood latest songs which really seemed out of place. The stars are only for the semi decent food and the courtesy of the staff. I would highly recommend choosing the music as per the feel they are representing.
