★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Better than ever. Visited in Jan 2022. Not so crowd. Exit from gate 1 to get frequent buses and autos. Gate 2 also have autos. Lanka is near from this station compare to VNS varanasi station.

It is one of the most advanced and facility-loaded railway stations. Some of the facilities of the station include food plazas, VIP lounges, escalators, gardens, and an advanced booking station.
It's very clean and tidy, adorned with beautiful paintings and artifacts. For transportation options you'll have to walk 200m from the station where autorickshaws pickup the passengers, until unless you have your own means of transport.
There's a big man-made lake in front of the station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Earlier it was called manduadih railway station. First of all it doesn't looks like railway station, because of its cleanliness and the trees present in the area. I've seen world class stations, but no station is like Banaras railway station, as the peaceful location and atmosphere makes this happen. Railway station has all the facilities which should be there in any railway station.
