Varanasi Junction railway station ( BSB ), also known as Varanasi Cantt railway station, is the main railway station serving the city of Varanasi. The other key railway stations in Varanasi Metro area are Banaras (formerly Manduadih), Varanasi City, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. (Formerly Mughalsarai) and Kashi. The junction station is sandwiched between the cantonment region and Chetganj region of the city.[1] The station is partially controlled by the Lucknow Division of the Northern Railway Zone and the Varanasi Division of the North Eastern Railway Zone of the Indian Railways. Varanasi Junction railway station nearly reaches the frequency of 300 trains daily. Almost, 45 trains originate and terminate at the station. Enquiry Service Is Also Quite Nice And Active Here . If One Wants To Go Kashi Vishwanath Temple Or Dashashwamedh Ghat From Here , It Would Take About 15-20 Minutes Auto/Ola Ride . ❤️

Most Vibrant Station now a days The station is very clean। Also the big LED display promptly shows all arrival departures trains। This is really helpful। An auto should take only rs 20 from most part of city। Don't go to Raj Ghat it's too far from main temple Kashi Vishwanath Mostly get down at Dashashwmedh Ghat , everything will be closer from there Station has multiple escalators। Station also getting expanded for passengers Amenities, restrooms and waiting rooms। Indian rail also added lounges here। Premium lounge available

There are total 9 platform each of then have escalator which you can go from one platform to other. It much more clean than before but still scope for cleanliness is there. Major step taken for waste management like dustbin with seperated waste has been placed.fine infrastructure and properly maintained. I am from ARA❣️ it self and I have seen the change over the past years. I am really impressed by the change I have seen and hope to see more.

D	Dilip Kumar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice , clean and beautiful railway station. Reached the station by mid night and was amazed to see the cleanliness and everything. Uber is not available here so you have to opt for OLA , auto and all other services are also easily available.Better to go with cab if you need to travel long as you might not find public transport in intermittent spots in nights.
