★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small station having only 2 platforms.sone if the trains to Kerala howra, Karnataka run through here.entrance area is small and the road in front is congested for 2 vehicle to go at a time.there are few small shops inside.but I couldn't find any restaurants inside or outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Congested place which has very limited seating arrangements. Looks like a typical mid sized railway station, this has been a hub for people traveling to and from kerala mainly. Things are improving with rest rooms, over bridge and coach display screens. Adequate parking space with wheel chair access is a big plus here. The main problem is no public transportation facility to railway station, no bus service and its located a bit inside from kammanahalli. You have to opt for private taxi or see your own travel arrangements.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Banaswadi railway station is a prime junction. Various trains going out of Bangalore from yeswanthpur is routing through this station only. Toilets are to be maintained better. Wheel chair entrance is there. Moving from one platform to other ramp is there. Some of the coach position displays are not functioning which causes very much inconvenience to the passengers. This has to be rectified on priority basis for better passengers support.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I noticed one week that the only trains with seats to my location started at Banaswadi. That's the first time I am hearing about it but still went ahead with the booking. I got out pretty early and therefore the crazy traffic didn't bother me too much. However as we drew closer the narrow roads around the station threatened timely arrival. Somehow I reached there with 10 mins to spare. The entrance is pretty expansive but crowded. The doorway in was also narrow. I thought my travails were over but that's when it kicked off in earnest. The train was delayed and I had to wait around 20 mins on a platform that seemed infested with mosquitoes. I looked around and noted the wild plant growth over the platform wall. That's where the mosquitoes were coming from. I prayed until the train came that no disease carrying mosquito bites me. Thankfully except for localized inflammation nothing serious happened. I recommend this station only in case no other station is available. Also do carry a mosquito repellent in case you are waiting there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a small railway station situated a lititles bit inside Banaswadi, so sometimes the traffic to reach here takes lot of time due to narrow roads. But calm and beautiful.
One of the problem noticed was they won't display coach until the train arrives. If they display coach number well in advance, it would help better.
