★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there for the doctors event 'cocktails and dinner',and I was wearing my burkha and niqab and I was not allowed with my niqab(face covering) inside,saying it's the club's rules! I had to remove my niqab and was then allowed inside! Wow,what rules! Extremely unfriendly guards/staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A typical British Colonial member club which doesn't seem to have changed much since inception. Old dull rooms with colonial pictures and artifacts which would need a modernsation urgently. Any it is a member only club and you do need a member invitation whom is with you as only members can setlle bills. We had a dinner at the sports bar which actually was rudely interrupted by heavy rains. The kitchen was leaking so badly that we could not be served. Worst we had to wade bare foot through angle high rain water to get to the main restaurant. The food was not that good to have to go through such conditions. If it wasn't for our friends we wouldn't visit.
