About Bank of India

Builder Projects are approved by the Bank at its sole discretion in respect of specific projects of specified builders, considering the title investigation/valuation report of such projects and satisfying such other particulars in respect of such projects. Approval /Tie-up arrangements are aimed to reduce Turnaround Time of Loan applications by avoiding duplication of certain works in respect of the processing of loan applications in respect of the units in such projects. Nobody can claim their project to be tied-up with the Bank as a matter of right. It is also to be noted that the tie-up in a project do not mean tie up in respect of any other project/extensions of the project of the same builder.

The Bank does not give any assurance in respect of the tie up projects including the merits of the project, such as its facilities, period of completion, price, regulatory approvals, quality of construction, other amenities, etc. or any special status to the builders of such tied up projects and expressly disclaims any liability in this regard. Customers are advised to exercise discretion and are required to make independent and discreet inquiry into such projects and satisfy themselves on the credentials of the project before taking any decision to involve/invest into such project. The Bank shall, under no circumstances be responsible for any dispute between the customer/builder/third party arising out of such involvement/investment/purchase of units in a tie up project.

Decision to sanction/not sanction a loan to any person who intends to acquire unit (s) in an approved / tie up project is a commercial decision of the Bank and approval /tie up arrangement has no bearing on such decision. Sanction of a loan shall be purely on merits and as per Bank's guidelines from time to time in this regard. Please note that neither the builder nor any person who acquires or decides to acquire any unit(s) in an approved/tie up project shall have any right or claim against the bank in respect of such projects.

(The list is displayed as on a particular date and addition /deletion to the list will be made on periodical basis. It may be clarified that bank also extend home loan to eligible borrowers for purchase of resale /under construction /completed units in builders/ projects /individuals not included in the approved list ,also, after compliance of normal verification /due diligence exercise .)

Worst bank and worst customer service. They will not help you on call. For even small queries you have to go to the bank. I called them regarding some problem and they were not ready to help me and hung up my call.

My first savings account was with Bank of India. The account still exists. My family is from the era and time who believed that the only bank one should have their account in are and has to be a nationalized bank. By Nationalized bank, they always meant Bank of India or State Bank of India. My grandfather loved Bank of India because my aunty is an employee. And my grandfather made everyone open a bank account with Bank of India. Years passed and generation after generation, we still have bank accounts with Bank of India. I personally am not fond of Bank of India. The service, the ATMs, the time they take for a simple transaction, the way they speak to people it is all so irritating. I have stopped going to my branch of Bank of India. In fact my mom does all my banking with Bank of India. The only time I go to Bank of India, Mira Road Branch is when I need to take out or put in something in my locker. The reason I opened my first account with Bank of India is because I was in 11TH and my mother asked me to open a Bank Account for savings purposes. The second savings account I have with Bank of India, Churchgate is because my aunty asked me to open one. So I technically have no cheque book for that account, no ATM cards nothing. I just put in some nominal account in the account every month. What I like about Bank of India in general is the facility of their Locker system. It is reasonable and very spacious. Well, this is the only thing I like about Bank of India. What I dislike about Bank of India? It is branch specific. It is the Mira Road branch of Bank of India that I dislike. Reason being, they have completely no sense of Customer Service. They are really rude. Now I am not a person who will rudely act with someone. But some of the Branch staffs are so rude that they made me super rude. Another thing that I dislike about this branch is the system issue. Half the time they have the systems not working. The net is always slow or down. They always say, “Kal aajao” yeah as if I have all the time in the world to walk in tomorrow Again for the same statement. ATM machines never work for Bank of India. Every time I had to go to a Bank of India ATM, it is not working. ‘No Cash’, ‘Only 1000 Notes available’, ‘Out of Service’ etc… Why don’t they have a word in their boards ‘AGAIN’, because this happens every time? I wouldn’t recommend any youth to have an account in Bank of India as long as it is not long term savings. Open a bank account with no cheque book, ATM and nothing. Just put in an amount every month and look at it after 20 years.

One of the worst bank I have ever seen, so long quie in hot weather, no one follow distance and no one wearing mask,my mother go to this bank for pension and she was senior sitizen she 65 year old and she was have knee problems and there was no sitting inside .no one seems the problem I hate this bank

This is one of the worst Bank I ever seen in my life. Bank Employees haven't manner to talk to costumers like Old Person who visit the bank. Work very slow and only get over crowded bank becz they don't know to work I can only say that. Don't Open New Account here. There service is useless no words to explain... everything they bad bad. ????

Such long queues in this hot weather, no social distancing rules being followed, employees sit inside bank premises ( safely) in AC but not managing the crowd outside during this pandemic. Never willing to work, worst bank & its employees too.
