★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting this nice shop since my early school days, i.e. April 1984. This shop is famous for Bedmi Poori-Aloo Sabji, Khasta Kachori, Aloo Bonda, Samosa, Bread Pakora, Jalebi, Gulab Jamun, Imarti etc. Among those items, I thoroughly enjoyed most Poori with Potato Purie rich in spices, chilly and oily indeed but only thing I hate to remember the bad odour stinking from the nearby heap of debris which has since shifted. Another drawback is the traffic congestion and paucity of space but anyway the taste of Bansal's delicacies never changed and prices/rates are moderate. Must visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bansal Sweets is very old and popular shop in Shahdara. What's special about them is they serve crispy bedmi Puri with delicious aloo sabzi whole day. I've been having their Aloo Puri and Jalebi since I was a school going kid. Puri sabzi and jalebi are must try here. Highly recommend this place.
