★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a old shiv mandir. There are 12 statues on 12 poles arranged in beautifull manner. Its a HEMADPANTHI Architecture which is arranging stones on each other without any paste or cement

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's A Hindu Temple, As Well As An Historical Landmark, Which In Return Is Making It An Tourist Attraction. Years Before, Only The 12 Pillars Of The Temple Were Visible. But In 2017, During An Project To Clean This Place, People Ordered An Bulldozer To Uproot A Custard Apple Tree, Which Had Grown Really Big. After Removing The Tree, They Discovered Some Rocks In An Geometrical Formation. After Further Excavation, Many Beautiful Sculptures & Pillars Were Discovered Here. But, Because Of The Use Of A Bulldozer, They Got Severely Damaged. The Excavated Sculptures Still Lie Out In Open, Under Constant Threat Of Getting Robbed. But, The Place Is Really Amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple, built in the 12th century, is a must visit for people who visit the nearby ambajogai temple. It is about 2.5 km away from the devi temple.
After you climb a few steps in front of the Mandir, there are two concentric circles of pillars. The outer circle has 12 pillars, hence the name "Bara Khambi" Mandir. The inner circle has eight pillars.
This being a Shiva temple there is a big Nandi outside and the main chamber has a few steps that you use to go down to reach the innermost part of the temple.
From a distance the temple looks like a Shiva Linga. This place needs better restore ration to preserve the heritage from 800 years ago.

Road to the temple is single road, Rocky mountain road.
