★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a big and very old drinking water treatment plant in this Kamarhati to Baranagar area. There are three big ponds to store water and filtered step by step. Water from Ganges store in a big lake called KHAD. Then water flows to a big lake inside the treatment plant. There is a beautiful picnic spot sorrending this lake. All types of infrastructure are there to organised a good family picnic.
