The new kid on the block, Barbecoa has been trending on social media for their awesome seafood Barbeque and their near perfect service. With enough good reviews up their sleeve, what's not to give them a chance. My family of three made a booking on a lazy Wednesday evening to celebrate what's an interesting start to a month long vegetarianism in the auspicious month of Navratri. We typically gorge on some great non-veg food before we go on this long sabbatical from meat food. We typically don't take risks here & head to the tried & tested list of buffet restaurants that we love. Not this time, wanting to try something new, something different, we ended up here. Especially when there is a promotion running till 17th Sep, the buffet being priced at 549 AI. After a really lazy start, a couple of reminders that we exist, the food service, finally began. After ordering in the mocktails & a glass of wine we eagerly awaited to be smitten by Barbecoa. What followed was a 45 minute service of starters in the barbeque as well as on our plate. The service was intermittent with frequent reminders & a few near misses in what we actually wanted more on our plate. The Orange Mojito was a hit, great citrus flavours with a refreshing twist. The Mango Mocktail was an equally refreshing drink, loved by the entire family. The Sula White, however was a downer because of the way it was served initially, the wineglass still had water droplets on the edges, from the washing I suppose. Which kind of irritated me, & asked for a replacement, but the image was already scarred. But the experience was even let down when my half empty wine glass was cleared when I was away to fetch some food. Coming to food, 10-on-10 here, the meat quality was extremely great, wonderfully seasoned. As the previous reviewers promised, the seafood was the star. Especially the crab & the prawns. We were served the meatier chunks of crabs, so as to fight minimally with the shell. The prawns were fresh & grilled to perfection. The peri peri chicken was yumm & the mutton seekh kebabs were almost melt in your mouth. The fish kebabs were good, but had a long wait time at the grill before it can be consumed. After almost 40 minutes, the coals went cold & a request to rekindle the fire never really got obliged. Never have I ever faced such a situation in other similar format restaurants. I used to have a complaint or two against others, not anymore, as compared to the service out here. A thing I don't understand about most barbeque style restaurants is when you say you are a non-vegetarian, they shy away from serving you the vegetarian starters. After repeated reminders, the Grill paneer & pineapple never made it to our side of the table, at all. After ranting my frustrations, one of the waiters, Rajiv finally heard us & addressed few of the concerns before we go completely dissatisfied. A must visit if you love seafood, especially crab. The buffet Spread was great, better than most similar formats. There were some obvious items like steamed rice missing, only to know that they serve them on your table super hot. The roti & kulcha options were plenty, with decent number of tasty & flavourful supporting cast of veg & non-veg gravies. The fish curry was more then decent, and the chicken gravy was wonderful. Huge dessert options, slightly different from other buffets. I would say it was more kid-friendly with choco Lava, donuts, chocolate cake. But that does not mean the younger at heart are left out. There was an absolutely delightful spread of Malpua, Shahi Tukra, Gulab Jamoons, and a choice of ice creams served at your table. Overall, extremely happy with the food, a little disappointed with the service. The offer of 549 AI is more than worth for the food, but does not make up for the shabby service. Must mention, they did not charge for my 8 year old, which was even after insisting to offer half the price, from that perspective I am elated.

Average place for group lunch/dinner. Ambience is not that great as it looks like a marriage hall with tables. Nonveg is ok to eat. Veg looks crappy. They should learn the customer service from bbq nation & abbq. Note: drinking water is additional charge

Located on the first floor of D and N Enterprises, where you can also find Jalsa and Float on the and and third floor respectively, Barbecoa is a widely spread buffet restaurant. I visited this place with a big group on a saturday for dinner. We started with the lemon coriander soup, pani puri, and papdi chaat which was scrumptious. The starters were served on the table. Among the veg starters, lajawab paneer and golden fried corn were good to taste. In the non veg starters, coastal bbq mai and tandoori murgh were delightful, also the honey glazed chicken was served uniquely with the flambe which I haven't seen being served on the table in a buffet restaurant. For the main course, we helped ourselves to the counters. They had good variety of veg and non veg dishes in their main course. Paneer methi chaman was the best dish I had here, also the egg curry and home-style chicken curry were delicious. The major attraction here was the huge variety of desserts displayed beautifully. The orange cheese cake was the best. The table also had angoori gulab jamun, rabdi malpua, gajar ka halva and many other various cakes and pastries. The interesting part was the live ice cream counter and the paan flavor ice cream made by the chef was amazing.

Another addition to great buffets in Marathalli. A wide spread of menu with very nice offers will attract your attention for sure. The buffet here starts with a complimentary mocktail, beer or a glass of red wine. Apart from generic buffet options, they have quite extensive options in starters also. Their mexican mushrooms and Methi corn tikki were delicious in vegetarian section. In non veg starters, their honey glazed chicken is the centre of attraction. In the main course they dont have very wide range but whatever options they have are quite delicious and you would want to atleast taste it. I was totally full just with the starters so only ate their biryani which was pretty decent. For dessert lovers, this place is a must try. A dedicated bench filled with colorful mouse, cakes, pastries, firnis and many more. Myslef not being a dessert lover, end up eating many items from the self. So, if you are trying to select a buffet place for family, friends or office party, this place is the right option to go with.

Place is not that lively as other BBQ or buffet places. Pani puri, chicken Afghani, crispy corn and veg kebab was good otherwise the food was okay.Very less varities in main course. I would not want to spend so much (β‚Ή1900+)for two people for okayish food. Ambience-3/5 Service-3.5/5 Taste-3/5 Value for money-2.8/5

Good food, reasonable price, courteous staff and soothing decor are the attractions here. After an uncommon smooth drive across the city on Ganesh Chaturthi day, we reached this place and it was relatively empty. We were alloted a seat of our choice and food came in followed by the complimentary fruit punch. The starters were good and infact the juices went in well in all the dishes, which is a miss in many barbeque joints in the city. Special mention to mutton sheekh kebab. The main course was simple and short, but most of the dishes were quite good specially the Biryani and the fish curry. The desert section was great with variety of cakes and sweets, mentionable malpua, honey cake, gulab jamun. Overall it was a good experience, scope of improvement is in the variety of dishes. It's a 4.5 from me.

The food was average. Service was very late. Hong Kong noodles was too oily, good that they replaced it within minutes. Veg Subz Biriyani was aweful. Chats and Ice cream were good. Their selection of desserts were not fresh and did not taste good. Overall an average experience. Worth a try with Dineout Gourmet. Note If you use Gourmet they do not accept Dineout Pay.

Great food but the waiters are so confused. The service can definitely improve. Got Buy 1 get 1 free buffet offer through Dineout's Gourmet Passport. So definitely a steal at the price paid. And the food was delicious
