★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This junction contains 8platfoms. Need proper cold drinking water filter taps. Very good guidance of RPF. Some litters need to be clear from the rail tracks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very crowded Station. It has large rural hinterland. People of three subdivisions of East Barddhaman and two Subdivisions of Hooghly consider the Station as their home station. Escalators are operating now

Wheel chair accessible entry possible only for platform 1.
Indian railway RO plant is there but IRCTC water Booth is not functioning.
Waiting room available.
Pay and use toilet ? and bathroom available is in platform 1.
Local train for Howrah is available in every 30 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good but requires to manage passengers who are all standing or sitting on the staircase and overbridge , which makes cause serious incidents or accidents. Earlier also happened stamped situations, which also could have avoided, if it were managed tactfully. Rest all are alright in this very busy junction station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite ? stations for all the time. Escalators are there for your comfort, quality of drinking ? water is so good and having place for rest, between boarding to any train. Very much busy station .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has transformed a lot. Improved facilities. An Escalator add attraction to the station. A huge national flag hoisting at the top adds beauty and pride. It symbolizes our freedom, peace and prosperity. Colourful trains , More comfortable coaches and above all trains on allmost on time relive the passengers.
