★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the chief and cheap vegetable and fruit market of the whole Burdwan town beside of the Municipal Market of this town. It is famous for it large number of seller, cheap price of goods, location etc. Excellent sanitation facilities are also available at here by paying cost.

Here we found variety of vegetables , fishes , fruits etc.. prices are reasonable .people from Far away comes to sell their vegetables. Large hilsa fishes are available here and their weight is between 250 gm to 1.5 kg and prices are between 300 rupee to 1500 rupee. It is located near Bardhaman Railway Station. We can easily reach here in many kinds of vehicle. This market opens at 6 a.m and closes at 10 p.m. I will go to this market again and again .
