★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my family lives here more than 120 years. we are local resident. this place has everything from high end to low rate shops for food, garments, restaurants, three big market (kachari bazaar, puraton bazaar, hospital market) church, temples, mosque everything is here. In the NIC maath the famous fair called milan mela is held every year. this place is famous for rash maath, rath yatra, the famous temple shibani pith, baruipur's famous oldest rajbari.. most of all this place is famous for guava and lichi. people come from far to get those farm fresh fruits here.
