It might look a simple dhaba from outside but it has a delicious menu that will definitely attract you.

My Recommendations
Everything was delicious and up to the mark. I won't recommend any particular dish because every dish has its own flavor and taste. I loved each one of them. It was fantastic lunch.

Each and every items were served in abundance, the quantity as per the pricing was mindboggling. We were literally out of words while tasting them as everything upon a single bite was on top notch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently visited this food joint located in hazra,it is just 2 mins to walking distance from Jatindaspark. This is a small outlet that can afford 25-30 person at a time.
Coming to the Ambience
The walls reminded me of the rich heritage of kolkata and there were hanging pictures of some amazing arts. Overall it was a nice one.

They serve some lipsmacking North Indian dishes. I personally felt that they need to enhance a bit of their Chinese dishes. The Firni was top notch besides the tandoori chai was the show stopper. The foods are of good quality and really affordable. So if you are thinking of some good food within a good range then this place should definitely be in your wishlist. Overall it was a good experience .

Dhaba’s have their own variations of dishes and when it comes to chicken preparations you are bound to get confused with the vast menu to choose from. Kolkata is the home to many dhabas which has been serving authentic North Indian fares for years now. Here’s a newbie Basanti Dhaba located just beside pathfinder at Hazra. Just about 2 mins walk from Jatin Das Park.
Not one of the most appealing places but its delectable food at economical price will give restaurants a run for their money. The non vegetarian dishes served here are to die for. Be it Chinese or North Indian, fried rice or biryani flavours are on point.
We tried a lot of kebabs and momos. If I explain each one of them, i may just end up writing a whole book. Chicken tikka kebab, Chicken Tangdi kebab ,Fish reshmi kebab ,Chicken cheese kebab all of them are nearly perfect. The chicken cheese kebab has a bright yellow colour that will surely appeal your eyes and your tastebuds won’t be disappointed as well.
Coming to the momos , they are huge in shape, rightly stuffed and packed with flavours.
In the Chinese main course ,prawn in hot garlic sauce or even the kung pao chiken was exploding with flavours. In the Indian section , there is a lot of bread options. Chilli naan ( harri mirch ki roti ) would be something new to try out. You can pair it with chiken kashmiri butter masala or the chicken bharta. End your meal on a sweet note with a flavourful firni.
Not only the food , but they have a lot of chai options for tea lovers. From chocolate chai , mirchi chai to classic tandoori chai you shouldn’t miss them. They are their best sellers. Definitely a worth visit for dhaba food lovers.
