Bot Tala would mean under the Banyan tree and Kali Bari would mean Kali Temple.
In earlier days. The place was a dumping ground for Hindu idols (mostly goddess Kali idols) under the banyan tree - the locals left these idols there after worshipping them, later some locals built a permanent temple there, after banning dumping of left idols.
