Bawarchi Restaurant Behala - Kolkata

Had an amazing time here. The food is lovely and very tasty. According to me this is one of the best Bawarchi outlet in town. Had a very delicious and sumptuous lunch. We had- Pan fried fish- loved the sweet and spicy taste and goes very well as a starter Cheese chilli paratha- here is something for the cheese lovers, go for this when u cant decide between paratha and pizza Chicken bharta- loved the creamy and rich texture of the gravy, it compliments the paratha very well. Noodles- the quantity was huge and also wasn't oily, went very well with the fish Chicken Biriyani- a bit too spicy for my taste, but spicy food lovers will definitely like it.

Over salted fried rice and chili chicken has given me an awful experience there. Good luck to all of you who would visit this place.

Recently I have ordered their 18 inch roll and it's worth it,though I didint liked the stuffing as there was so less chicken,mutton pieces but ya it's unique u can try.❤️

I went to the BEHALA outlet. It is not so big. A small dine in facility available. Food quality is very good and not very costly. Inadequate parking available in front. I think it is good for takeaway.

Had a worst experience dining at bawarchi.. i never had such an awful biryani. The chicken tikka butter masala was also not upto the mark. The chicken pieces were so hard . I really felt bad spending money on such a tasteless food. I will definitely not visit that place again. I would have given negative rating but one star for the staff good behaviour.

If you love North Indian cuisine, Bawarchi will not disappoint you for sure. We ordered butter nun, malai kofta, chicken Hyderabadi. All the items were so delicious, we would definitely like to visit again!

Bawarchi is located in Behala James long serving great variety of delicious dishes. I recently visited the place and the items I had were - *Starters* 1) Lemon chicken soup - It was thick with sufficient pieces of shredded chicken. It was tasty, healthy and flavorful. 2) Golden fried prawn with onion rings - A highly recommended item. There were eight pieces. They were big in size and very crispy and tasty. It highly satisfied my taste bud. 3) Crispy chilli American corn - This unique veg item is a must try. In this item crispy corn niblets were tossed with dry tangy sauce. It was very flavorful and tasty. 4) Kebab platter - In kebab platter each kebab was soft, juicy and flavorful. *Specials of Bawarchi* 1) Murgh Musalam Biryani - This item was best of all and very highly recommended. In this item grilled whole chicken was stuffed with steam rice and boiled egg. It was then tossed by tomato base red gravy. It tasted just fantastic. 2) Bawarchi special 18 inch roll - It is big size roll. The paratha was crispy and well stuffed with pieces of chicken and paneer. *Indian Dishes* 1) Kashmiri naan with chicken butter masala - The bread was soft and sweet. It went great with chicken butter masala. The chicken pieces in it was big in size. They were tender and tasted fabulous. Highly recommended. 2) Lahori paneer- This item too tasted good with big chunks of paneer in it. 3) Chello kabab - This is another signature dish of Bawarchi with 3 pieces of Murgh Shashlik , chicken seekh kebab and Butter rice with an egg poach on top. The whole dish tasted great. *Chinese* 1) Bawarchi special fried rice with hog garlic fish - In this item the rice was tossed with Babycorn , mushrooms, red peppers, exotic vegetables and prawn. It went fantastic with hot garlic fish. The pieces were fresh and big in size. The dish tasted fantastic and highly recommended. Lastly we had Blue Lagoon. The drink was very refreshing with perfect blend of sweetness in it. The ambience was very pretty with beautiful dim lights and wall paintings. The soft music in the background added to the mood. Thus had a great time there and highly recommended.

Some days ago I visited South kolkata.So I ordered from Bawarchi and self picked it. I ordered: •Dum Handi Biriyani (Full) It was tasty.The quantity was enough for two person.They give 2 chicken kebab,1 egg,1 Chicken and saficient rice.I specially like the pot.In general they give it to big Contaner.
