Excellent customer service and ambience. Great place for Bengali cuisine. A book corner is arranged for book lovers. You can kill your waiting time after ordering food. Walls are decorated with framed pictures of Kolkata. We tried Non veg thali which includes Rice Pulao Sukto Dal Aloo vaja Begun vaja PatalPosto vaja Dhokar Dalna Chicken or Mutton and Fish curry along with Chatni Misti Salad and Papad. Quality and quantity both are equally good.

We ordered both chicken and mutton kosha ,but it didn't came as expected.the 'chicken kosha' dish was nothing but a joke , mutton kosha was a mere copy or try of signature dish 'golbarir kosha mangso'.totally overpriced.polao & Paratha can hardly get pass marks.but the disaster came at last, the amporar sorbot, which was nothing but insult to itself.would give 0 star if possible

As I am quite a big fan of Koshe kosha, as soon as i heard that they have opened another venture I had to try it. Went in with a group of friends. The outlet for Biryani kolkata is located on the James Long Sarani just beside brand factory. The seating area accommodates about 25-30 people at a time. It is quite well lit and ambience is plain and simple. Service is quite good, maintaining the same as it is for koshe kosha. For food, I tried the following: ?MUTTON BIRYANI : This was served with raita and a salan to go with it. The mutton and potato in the biryani was simply melting in the mouth. The taste was quite good and the dish was far less oily than at many other places. It dint make me feel heavy. The downside was the fact that the rice was a little overcooked and didnot provide the required bite to it. ?CHICKEN CHAAP : I loved the gravy of the chaap. It was filled with fried onions which gave it a very good texture too. The chicken pieces in it was huge but still it maintained it's softness. Went perfectly with the biryani. ?CHICKEN REZALA : The white gravy was quite light and buttery. Would definitely go well with some Indian breads. Also, had their green salad and coke with the meal. It definitely was a complete meal. The quantity of each item was really good and price is mid range affordable!

The taste of the foods are very inferior compared to the price. Had Basanti pulao, Mangso Kosha and Behtki pathuri. Basanti Pulao was okay. Nothing special. Had better pulao at much lower price before. Mangso Kosha was good. Mutton pieces was slightly on the tough side but it was good. Bhetki Pathuri was the worst of the three. Totally bland. No flavour. The fish pieces were tiny. Not worth the money. I'm not recommending.

1. Ambiance: Nothing fancy, still nicely maintained. Clean tables and chairs. It's a two floor arrangement. Beware of the ceiling in the upper floor. Although covered with soft padding, still one can get his/her head bumped. Lower floor appears little more airy. 2. Food: It is a Bengali cuisine restaurant. Everything we tried were good. One particular mention, Mutton Jagurath tasted like a sour chatney preparation of mutton. All the food were freshly prepared. Photos attached. 3. Service: Very much welcoming and courteous they have been. Their suggestions were genuine. And they have been prompt as well. 4. Price: Sumptuous meal for two costed around 1.4k and it included mutton, chitol peti, shrimps (kucho chingri diye shak). It is an expensive restaurant, but justifies its price. 5. Parking: Located right on the main road, we could park our car right by the gate. During a busy evening, one may have to park his/her car somewhere little away. Be careful for 'no parking' signs. 6. Overall: Although nothing overwhelming, still we enjoyed our meal. Food were delicious and we enjoyed it.

Very poor quality .price are very high. Taste is below average. I ordered last day motton kossa and basanti polao through zomato. Polao is not fresh . One or two days older and one motton piece totally with out flesh. I SUGGEST EVERYONE NOT TO GO THERE FOR LUNCH / DINNER PURPOSE
