★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come to Begum's BBQ at Naqqar Khana in the Peer Gate area of Bhopal, (near Iqbal Maidan) to get authentic muglai cuisine.
The service is pretty quick but the ambience falls a little short of expectations for the name the restaurant carries.
The dishes taste delicious and their proportions are sumptuous.
The menu is vast, is moderately priced and the prices given include all taxes.
All in all, an excellent experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my first visit to @begumsbbq and I must say the experience was quite nice. The restaurant is just opposite of Iqbal maidan, decorated with pictures of Begums, antique watch and chandelier, nice wooden furniture which will definitely give you a feel of sitting in a Begum's dining room. .
Food menu is full of non vegetarian rolls, kebab, korma, BBQ buns, platter, biriyani, deserts, even a special body builder's delight. I chose Mutton Haleem, chicken Begum's special roll and mutton shami kebab. Haleem was quite tasty and sufficient for one. Roll was very light, less oil, soft with well cooked chicken. Shami kebab was soft, melt in mouth, full of spices. .
All in all, a good place to visit for non vegetarians. .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not true to its theme. Limited variety of BBQ items and very limited traditional Bhopali dishes. Beautiful interior but slightly disappointing as it was not what I was expecting from a heritage theme restaurant. Taste was okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place had the finest food we had ever had. I'd recommend this place to every foodie, looking for Mughalai food out there. You must try their non-veg platter and their pudding for dessert. Their antique ambience is another plus point for anyone looking for an amazing meal in archaic surrounding.
