★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manton super market is the two storied old market with different types of shop's starting from complete printing shop, gas dealer,tailoring shop, advertising agency of all newspapers, furniture, school and office stationery, electronics, etc, etc under one roof. Locality good and easily accessible from D H road. Price may not be competitive, plz check before buying.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Behala Manton is a busy place with many shops and show rooms on both sides of Diamond Harbour road . To the east it is connected with James Long sarani which is often called "Behala bypass or rail line". There are three sweet shops at Manton bus stop and many other shops including grocery shop. There is one veternary shop at Manton. Famous Behala Sarat Sadan hall is present inside Manton super market. Also a speciality hospital "Narayana" is new addition to the locality. On the east side of the road you can find several vendors selling various plants including ornamental plants, manures, accessories etc.
If approached from Taratala then the bus stop before Manton is Behala tram depot and after Manton is Ashoka cinema hall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an important location in Behala area. It is also a well known Bus stoppage on Diamond Harbour Road . Number of Public and Government busses connecting several parts of Kolkata and South 24 Paraganas pass through this area. All sorts of shops, namely grocery ,sweet shops, medicine shops, South Indian restaurants are situated here. There are number of road- side shops selling varieties of indoor and outdoor plants, seeds and fertilizer . The colorful flowers of the plants defenetely added serene beauty in the area. One nationalized bank( P N B ) and one private bank with number of ATM stalls are located around Manton area. The area is peaceful . That much today .
