It gets really crowded in durgapuja.. you can visit other time of the year ..But nothing special is arranged during that time...It is mainly used as a durga mondop ( a stage for darshan of God's ..temporarily) ...It's a permanent mondir to worship different gods..Pls if u want to visit ..Visit in October when the durga puja is held..

A very simple and nice Durga Mandir. Aristocratic design. Very much clean. Have seating arrangement in front of Mandir.

I'm a new resident in this area..... Very good and calm place. The Durga Temple organises Durga puja every year with pomp and vigour.

Temple more than 200 years old. Every year the temple celebrates Durga Puja in its ethnic form. Devi Durga and her family molded in traditional "Daker Saaj". This template was earlier property of local Chowdhury family. Now it is a part of local community and club-Beltola. The perimeter and auditorium of the temple used to play a critical role in community group decisions and other religious and political celebrations.
