Firstly to mention how life saving and helpful experience it has been with Dr. Mangesh Patil. My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer few weeks ago. Upon consultation removal of gland was the best option. But considering his age, covid situation and physical condition we were in doubt whether he can undergo such a major surgery.
Dr. Mangesh Patil, has been extremely supportive and gave positive thoughts to my father and my family during the entire process. He gave us appropriate direction and confidence that everything will be fine.
My father also is a heart patient and had undergone an open heart surgery in 2017 .Considering all these factors Dr Mangesh Patil explained how a Robotic Surgery will be the best option instead of traditional open surgery. It was for the first time we experienced something so advanced in medical science. The surgery was successfully completed on 4th September 2020 at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation and he was discharged within 5 days. The surgery went well as he had no other complications, no mental trauma or fear. Looking at my father today I can't even say he has undergone such a major surgery as he is filled with joy and positivity and ready to live his life to the fullest. All thanks to Dr Mangesh Patil who helped him fight cancer.
