★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place on the corner of the Patwardhan Baug chowk. Great seafood faire.
We had ordered a surmai and chonak fry, a chonak jevan, a chicken jevan, and a prawn cafreal.
All dishes were cooked to perfection. I especially like the cafreal and the fish fry dishes.
Recommendation: must visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place should shut down. They give Malvani food a bad name. Absolutely rubbish food. Nowhere close to authenticate Malvani food at all!! I have eaten way better MALVANI food in PUNE for a much better price. I wonder how their restaurant in Sawantwadi must be. After eating here, i will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone who knows Malvani food well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I personally like this place, but my recent visit here was a bit disappointing. My family members did not like "chicken jevan" that much. Kokam preparations had way too high garlic flavor. A big no-no for the green fish curry from surmai and pompfret jevan. On the other hand fish fry, prawns curry, and bombil and prawns rava fry were really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not really get the feel of old bhalekar khanawal from sawantwadi. We have surmai thali and chicken with kombadi Wade. Chicken rassa was not given extra so had the rice empty, rice bhakri was good, surmai fry was fresh, we did not like the curry as it did not taste nor Goan for malwani.
