During the first Marathi King, 'Chatrapati Shivaji Raje' time, Saint Ramdas Swami suggested to Shivaji Mahataj to establish Lord Maruti Mandir to encourage Youth of the State to worship God of Strength & Power. That time there were 5 Maruti Mandirs were established. This is one of these five.
