★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ganpati bappa temple. Visit inside temple is allowed. Not much crowd this days may be bcos of covid. Bags need to be kept at baggage counter. Laptop n valuable need to be carried in hand. Darshan takes hardly 5 min. Not allowed to seat inside temple due to covid norms.

Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati is the most loved and worshiped Ganpati lord in Pune. Visited by thousands of devotees daily its something one cannot afford to miss when in Pune. Located in the heart of Pune city surrounded by light market, book shops and vegetable and flower market in the surrounding area it is one of the most crowded and busiest roads in Pune. The temple is open for darshan from 5.30 am to 10.30 pm on all days with morning aarti performed at 7.30 am and evening aarti at 8.00 pm daily. The lord Ganesh murti/idol is so pleasing to the eye the experice is just blissful. The pendal decoration during Ganpati festival is a must see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mus visit this temple during Pune visit. peaceful place. You can spend 1-hour max. Much a crowded place.
Two-wheeler parking is available. Prefer to go by two-wheelers.
Four-wheeler travel and parking are a bit difficult.
Open at 6:00 am and close at 10:00 pm.
"Shreemant Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati is one of the most beloved idols of Lord Ganesha in Pune. It has a long and illustrious history of 127 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Temple with massive idol of Ganesh ji . Famous all over maharashtra.Ganeshji's idol has many golden ornaments and that is the attraction of many people . Usually you can get darshan within 5-10 minutes ( except that on chaturthi and Sunday ) .There is also temple of Lord shiva inside the temple.Having visit once there will give you a great experience and your soul will be refreshed and filled with spirituality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir is the most renowned Ganpati Mandir not only in Pune, but in overall Maharashtra.
Despite the fact that people visit here daily in thousands, & during festivities in lakhs.
Always a good experience visiting this temple.
But, with everything at its best here, there's just a minute change required for the better convenience in Darshan for the devotees.
Speaking of the festive days, the experience here gets uneven. The management surely is doing a great job there, arranging, planning & everything. But, as a devotee it feels too annoying to not even get proper darshan of Bappa, hardly 2 seconds of darshan & we're out.
They just rush us too fast to just get a running glimpse of Bappa even from the closest allowed Darshan. That's the only thing a bit off about the management.
Else, if there's no rush, obviously there's good time for Darshan.
But, just that there's a genuine request if they can anyhow make some more effective organization/management to make sure that a single devotee should atleast get a proper 5-6 seconds of Mukh-Darshan of Bappa.
The people will surely come in numbers, making it tougher for everyone to take the Darshan. But, whomever will have it, will have it satisfactorily.
& Whomever might miss can anyway see through the glass panel on the main door of the temple.
Hope that this message goes in the way it should.
Would be appreciated to see if there are changes in the Darshan process.
