It’s a small waterfall near Karjat which looks beautiful during the monsoons. One can plan a half-day trip over there with family/friends. It’s a tiny trek climbing up the waterfall which we enjoyed.

Awesome... Bhivpuri is a town in Karjat Taluka near Mumbai. It is the location of Bhivpuri Road railway station of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. A temple of Sai Baba of Shirdi is located here.[1][2] Numerous nearby waterfalls attract visitors on weekends. Bhivpuri Dam and a hydro-electricity generation plant of Tata Power is located nearby. Neral is the previous stop and Karjat is the next stop. Bhivpuri has state highway which is connecting to NH4, Panvel & Navi Mumbai and the other side connects to Badlapur & Thane District. In Bhivpuri there is one new multi facilities hospital (Raigad Hospital & Research Center) located which covers the area from Shelu, Neral to Karjat.

It is a very good place to visit once with your friends during the rainy season.

Wonderful place especially during rains. Nice place located just 80 km from Mumbai. All you need to drive to Karzat off Mumbai Pune highway via Panvel. Just before reaching Karzat, you need to take left turn and climb you car uphill (Google uncle will tell where to take left). Concrete road ends at the place where you need to stop and park the car (thought Google navigation will ask you to take left turn followed by right). I will not recommend to drive further, rather opt for treking of almost 45 mins in which you will be close to nature, greenery and nature's beauty. Great place for treking for all including young ones. Follow the treking marks and you can reach the fall. Remember to carry adequate potable water and snacks. Do not litter andbkeep the place/ way clean, Remember to carry a bag to collect and bring back empty bottles and packs.

Its a trek cum waterfall spot at karjat. 1) The trek is comfortable and simple so that middle aged people can easily walk and enjoy. 2) inspite of not being very high, still in monsoon, one can experience clouds at low level on little trek up. 3) The road that leads to the base of the trek is good with a car going comfortably. 4) the waterfall is visible mostly when it is raining continuously. When we visited the waterfall was not carrying much water, still it was a fairly beautiful sight. Overall, the lush green and serene beauty that one sees around on going on top is absolutely amazing.
