Visit after monsoon
And leave this place before 5 o'clock
Place is some what Dangerous in night... If you miss the trail you can't find it again so take care about it...
You can visit it during your tracking of garbett point also

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place for one day hiking. Purely heavenly place and may be called as beauty of Paranomic views. Trek of 7 kms to Garbett Plateau with Diksal Waterfalls in between. At starting point there is Dhom lake and Dam with heavenly views with lots of water bodies to get yourself relaxed and have fun in water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a mesmerising, spine-chilling and adrenaline rushing experience it was! Dikshal is 110 ft+ waterfall full of heavy flow during monsoon. It is a few kms away from Matheran. It's not-so-crowdy place. It is a great place for mid level trekking and waterfall rappelling

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is very less explored and uncommercialized but still must visit tourist place. Village name is "Diksal" and situated between Karjat- Matheran Road. If you travel from Central Railway then nearest station is Bhivpuri. From railway station you can easily reach Diksal village by Auto Rickshaw. However to reach near actual waterfall you need to walk rather need to do proper Trekking for about 2.5 KM. So before planning your keep this important point in mind. You also need to carry drinking water, food and first aid box since nothing is available once you crossed Diksal village and entered the mountains. Waterfall Rappelling is also available here with nominal amount of INR 450 per person. You can easily spend entire day at this place. Tent stay is not allowed by local authorities.
Do visit and explore this beautiful place during Monsoon and also during Winter. Enjoy

For newbies, find a localite from any grocery shop on Karjat Nerul Road and take him along as a guide. So that they guide you through the journey till the waterfalls.
