★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a Vida water container jar dispenser with pump from this store. Went home excitedly to try it out. It didn't work.
Came back to exchange it for a functioning one.
Another shopkeeper who was manning the store this time, was willing to give us a "new" piece in exchange for the old one. I tested the new piece out on my hand and realised it wasn't going to work because the pipe did not have any suction. I brought this to his attention.
Meanwhile, another water dispenser caught my eye. It was a greeniah blue container with a tap. I told him we'd take that instead and pay him the difference. He said he could not exchange it for a different product, only for the same one and there was a no refund policy. I did not ask for a refund, I was asking for a functioning piece of equipment.
So I asked him to show us that it was working properly. He went in the back and came back out saying he couldn't show us because there was no lid to the water container jar he has which didn't make any sense because to use this pump you needed the lid off the water container jar.
At this point, we realised this man, this con artist, was trying to palm off a defective piece to us while effectively stealing our money.
Also, did I mention we bought several other items from this store and the initial shopkeeper marked up the prices on each of the items he sold to us? ..And we bought quite a number of items.
Conclusion: I'm down ₹150 with a piece of junk I can't even use and it's all because of Bhoomi Home Appliances.
Bottom line: Don't buy ANYTHING from this store. You'll never know if you're the next customer who gets cheated.
