★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a busy Indian Railways station connecting M. P. to rest of India. It is clean station but space and facilities according to this junction railway station is not up to mark. You will not get wheelchair for senior citizens, escalator, waiting area for executive class etc. Medical facility and free wifi is available on this station. Beggars are present at all platforms and stalking at every passenger. Local taxis and parking area is available outside the railway station. Transportation is available round the clock for tourist places eg. Sanchi, Ujjain, Indore etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bhopal Junction railway station (station code:- BPL) is a major railway junction of India and main railway station of Bhopal, the capital of the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This station also serves as a connecting point for various pilgrims from Asia to visit the Stupa of Sanchi, an important Buddhist stupa, which is about 40 kilometres (25 mi) from this station

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bhopal station is good with Platform 1 ease for New Bhopal Passengers and Platform 6 for old Bhopal Passengers.
Food stalls are permitted and so far can eat from them without health conscious issues.
I suggest to carry your own food and water for the rail journey or order food from IRCTC app.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Bhopal railway station while I was going to Ujjain. I changed my train from here.
Bhopal Junction railway station is located on the main Delhi–Chennai route which halts more than 200 daily trains, with a total of more than 380 trains within a week. To the north of the Bhopal Junction lies Bina Junction, to the south lies Itarsi Junction. There is one track which connects Bhopal to the west with Ujjain Junction, Sehore, Ratlam Junction and Ahmedabad Junction. Also to some portion of Indore Junction, Sehore and Dewas Junction.
The station has 6 platforms in addition to enough waiting halls, refreshment centre, passenger ticket counter and ticket vending machines, vehicle parking, communication facility, sanitary facility and dedicated Government Railway Police force to ensure security.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The station is extremely packed. The station is in fair condition. Because there are no escalators, it is difficult for elders or people with disabilities to get about (now it is under maintenance since a long time). However, there is a lift available. There are six platforms in total. Near the station, stalls and hotels are many. Don't eat at a station restaurant because the food is cheaper but may cause health problems. The sight of the national flag flying in front of the station is breathtaking.
Overall, this is a wonderful station. Visit the Official Railway Food Restaurants on the first platform if you're seeking for fast food or breakfast.
