Railway station is nice. Everywhere is clean But little crowdy you can show in station at the time of crona. But cleanliness is their and security checkups is also good. #BBSR

Bhubaneswar is an ancient city in India’s eastern state of Odisha, formerly Orissa. Many temples built from sandstone are dotted around Bindu Sagar Lake in the old city, including the 11th-century Hindu Lingaraja Temple. Outside Rajarani Temple are sculpted figures of the guardians of the 8 cardinal and ordinal directions. Jain antiques, weaponry and indigenous pattachitra paintings fill the Odisha State Museum. Bhubaneswar is a centre for higher education in the Eastern Region and is considered the education hub of Eastern India with several government and privately funded Universities and colleges. Bhubaneswar's major sporting arena is the Kalinga Stadium, having facilities for athletics, football, hockey, basketball, tennis, table tennis and swimming. It is known for hosting the Odisha Hockey World Cup in November–December 2018. Bhubaneswar is supposed to have had over one thousand temples, earning the tag of the 'Temple City of India'. Temples are made in the Kalinga architectural style with a pine spire that curves up to a point over the sanctum housing the presiding deity and a pyramid-covered hall where people sit and pray. The twin hills of Khandagiri and udayagiri, served as the site of an ancient Jaina monastery which was carved into cave-like chambers in the face of the hill. These caves, with artistic carvings, date back to the 2nd century BCE. Dhauli hills has major edicts of Ashoka engraved on a mass of rock and a white Peace Pagoda was built by the Japan Buddha Sangha and the Kalinga Nippon Buddha Sangha in the 1970s. Apart from the ancient temples, other important temples were built in recent times include Ram Mandir and ISKON Odia culture survives in the form of Classical Odiissi dance, handicrafts, sand artistry and sculpturing as well as theatre and music.

I just love Bhubaneswar. I came here to do btech. Although there are some minor defects but its ok in front of the benifits of bbsr. The best thung here is mo bus service available for public at vety cheap rate. You can travel in ac bus at just 15 rs. Also here the best thung is about the cleanliness of thr city.

Very clean. One of the cleanest railway stations. You can get a train to major cities here. Lift available for people who need. Decent variety of eidibles available, be careful as you will not like all of it. Ample amount of seating and resting spots. Mobile charging spots are available. Good network of buses available for anywhere in the city. You can get good hotels and lodges outside the premises. Keep all your bags, wallets, electronic gadgets cautiously as my phone was snatched just outside the station as I was looking for a Oyo hotel in Google Maps. Police station is nearby but they won't do anything.

Bhubaneswar is also known as city of temples. There are many temples here in which konark sun temple, jagannath temple, lingraj temple, raghunath mandir area main attractions. Bhubaneswar is capital city of odhisha.
