★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely congested. Not a easy to go in or out of the platform. Construction and set up of the platforms are difficult to understand for the first timers.
RRB should take more care on the Swachhata & cleanliness work of the platforms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The railway station is very confusing because of the railway lines. The route is very busy as well. But again it is a good place for travelling to different destinations. Specially if you going from dankuni side to Book fair or korunamoyee bus stand it's the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the important station located in the heart of the Kolkata city , be it daily wage earners to corporate people evryone makes a footfall here. From here one can get trains to all parts be it sealdah , canning , bongaon or hasnabad. Though the galloping trains skip this station it's a problem,still it's an important station.

Bidhannagar Road is a Kolkata Suburban Railway junction on the Sealdah–Ranaghat line. It is linked to the Sealdah South lines via Sir Gurudas Banerjee Halt railway station. It is located in Ultadanga, Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. It serves Ultadanga, Kankurgachi, Bidhannagar and other surrounding areas.
Many EMU trains coming from or going to Sealdah stop at Bidhannagar Road. Most long-distance trains skip this station but a few stop here. It has total 4 platforms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This railway station is situated at the heart of the city of joy Kolkata. After this station you will find sealdah and before this station you will find Dum Dum junction. From this railway station you can go to salt lake and rajarhat megacity by taking a bus taxi auto. But the platform system of this station is not that good. There is only one washroom situated below the station. And the ticket counter is also situated below the station. Sometimes the galloping trains do not stop at that station. You can go to laketown,raja bajar, VIP, sector 5 by road route from this station.
