★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had ordered chiken kobiraji, chiken biryani and chicken roll here. Food was testy. But check roll was not wrapped in lachcha paratha. Biryani nad kobirajee was of authentic bengali taste. Ambience was not so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the lousiest restaurants I have come across. Their service is horrible. They took more than an hour to deliver a single dish. Their cooking is so slow and incompetent that we were thinking of ordering from another restaurant and they would have delivered it faster than these guys. The owner was nowhere to be seen so the entire management is slow and inept. If you want to eat here make sure you have no other activities to do after that because it will be delayed insignificantly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've had lunches here in the past and have always relished the meals. But, Oh this place was such a disaster today!
We went for lunch on Sunday 17th April to celebrate my late father's birthday. Since the weekend coincided with Noboborsho, Bijoli Grill served a set menu from 15th to 17th April 2022.
There were problems from the time we entered.
• We only had the set menu to choose from which in itself was the most boring and terrible selection. I'd called a day earlier to make reservations, but they had failed to inform that an A La carte wouldn't be possible.
• In this heat, they were ill equipped to serve simple cold water. Asking for ice was obviously a mistake too.
• The order was as follows:
Radha bollobi - strictly O.K.
Aloo dum - dry, tasteless and made in a rush.
Chingri malai curry - with tiny and tasteless stale prawns, too much garlic and not a hint of coconut. When the manager was asked about this, he simply agreed and nodded that the big prawns were over. Ideally then take it off the menu!! ??♀️
Aam chutney - strictly OK and way too sweet.
Aam pora shorbot - zero taste served with warm water ?
Nimbu paani - warm water, sugar and not a hint of nimbu.
Pulao - which didn't even arrive at the table, inspite of reminding the already overworked staff.
Fish fry (in place of fish kobiraji) - the only decent thing served, but the batter was not fresh.
• After complaining, we were served complimentary rosogulla and kala jamun. We tasted one of each which again were really low quality sweets.
• The server serving us was stinking.
• And ofcourse they charged us for everything.
Overall the most terrible and disappointing lunch I've had in a long long time. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is good bengali restaurant for authentic bengali cuisine lovers. They offer most of the signature bengali authentic dishes. And they tasted most of the times authentic..prices are also reasonable considering the surroundings. But the place is little small and ambience is just OK type.
But if you are in in that particular area you should go for lunch or dinner for bengali food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on Nabami afternoon for lunch. Limited car parking is available which can accommodate about 6 cars. Given that it’s a high demand stop for Bengalis during Durga Puja we were offered a Set menu.
The menu was extensive and the food was met my high expectations and thus there was no room for complaint. However the service was very slow and most of the time we were waiting for the next item to arrive which was quite frustrating.
