★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is just okay. as it is a local station it provides best service as per the local station expectations. This station is not crowded. You'll have your lots of space. You'll have your ticketing done without any waiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ticket counter is situated at 1 no platform. Unreserved computerized ticket counter and computerized reservation is available. Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (ATVM), for Smart card use is available, which really helps the commuter during rush hours to avoid queue. There is a display board and a digital clock at the ticket counter. UTS QR code is also available in the walls of ticket counter. Drinking water is available (but it is not hygienic).
♿wheelchair accessible entrance is available from platform no 1 side under the flyover.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service is good. The station often remains quite crowded. Sealdah to Birati or Barasat route is possibly one of the most bussiest routes of the Sealdah Northern Section. The coaches are over crowded and in the daytime, usually filled with vendors of all categories, transporting goods and various items towards Sealdah and other nearby places of commerce. Thus, it often becomes quite hard to travel in this route, whether it be Sealdah up or down. However, requirement overpowers the adversities.

It's a pretty decent sized station (all galloping trains are stopping) functional almost all length of day.
Had a good puchka store(not sponsored) can give it a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, of course I love Birati station. If you wanna know about the Ticket Counter of Birati then you must know it is very good in nature. Everyone is so familiar.It is situated in the platform no 1, just beside the the shade of the platform. In the office time it is a little bit busy and you may facing delay to get your tickets due to heavy crowd. But No need to tension there you will get a self use ticket machine. But don't worry, if you want to avoid delay then You can use that machine by yourself to get your tickets. And if you are not able to run that there you will find a very polite and decent guy from whom you can buy the tickets at the same cost. Happy journey
