★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location was good but property is not properly maintained. Staff was good and responsive and veg food was a good option in their menu however Non veg is not at all an option which you should try as per my experience because i don't think they can meet expectation. No soap, towel or any other basic facility. Place is safe and secure and can give you NATURE friendly experience but if you expect a Hotel experience then try looking for Hotel not Home stay. Overall experience was good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mr Bisht and his family were very good host's.View is amazing from the rooms. Food is a little on the expensive side but hygienic and tasty. Rooms are small but clean. They have there own parking. I would definitely visit them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I heard about tirthan valley from a friend and decided to visit here for couple of days while coming back from manali. Searched many homestays, hotels on google. Also visited them but not getting any stay in my budget. Suddenly bumped into bisht niwas . At first , i didn't like the property as it doesn't look so fascinating from front. But as per old saying - don't judge a book by its cover. I stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed alot more than i expected. Few points on why to stay here.
1. Simba. (Bhutia dog) - owner's pet dog. Always stayed besides me whenever i go for walks. Alongside river
2. Suraj (helper/ staff)- one of the most humble guy i ever met.always ready at your service even at late nights. He never says no or gets irritated !
3 the view - each room have big balconies and comfortable seatings to spend your day from morning till night.
4.bonfire - don't charge for bonfire, unlike any other hotel. And also dont have any time restrictions.
5. Food -clean and hygenic kitchen. they cook as per your instructions. I asked for aaloo poori, raita and many other things( which are not on menu) and they coked it at very very reasonable price.
6. Parking - sufficient parking for 3 to 4 cars.
7.nearby - 2 kirana shops nearby just 5 mins walking
Overall there in nothing bad about this place .. will surely visit again and meet simba- owner's pet. ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bisht Niwas is situated around picturesque locations. The rooms are decorated tastefully. The balcony facing the river and mountain is really a place to enjoy the nature. Behavior of the owner and staffs are very cordial. Totally enjoyed our stay there recently.
