Really an amazingly beautiful place with stupas and natural beauty. Will calm your mind as you walk through the paths made for visiting different stupas. Only caution is to beware of monkeys.

Huge stupas. They say these stupa were built for the disciples and the size of the stupas denotes the merit rank of the individual.

Historical place with buddhist monument. There is one of the rare rock painting found in satdhara. It is only one rock painting in Asia where you can find rock painting of buddha and buddha stupa at same place. Rest the place is very neet and clean but you need to take water and eatables with you. You can not find anything here for eat.

Peaceful, serene, a landmark of historical importance. The relics of Buddha's two chief-most disciples were excavated here, which are now kept in the main Sanchi Chetiyagiri Temple.

Satdhara is very ancient Buddhist site relative to Sanchi. There are many stupas prior to one BC are situated and Stupa 1 is very large and old bricks stupa is open from upper side that is original. Well maintained by ASI.approach road is good.

An ancient site that was established on the banks of river Sahastradhara, now known as Halali, around 2300 years ago. This place consists of series of Buddhist Stupas and Viharas that have been discovered by the British Major Cunningham during 19th Century. This place lies in the radius of Buddhist monuments that were built during the same time period as Sanchi. It lies 9 kms before Sanchi on Bhopal-Vidisha Highway that is well connected. One can reach this place on their personal vehicle. The best time to explore this place would be during or after the Monsoon. We visited it during the warm month of April and found the entire place to ourselves covered with serenity and peace.
