★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moving from ground floor after an enquiry to second floor, waiting, after discussing directed to go to third floor and again to ground floor, pay cash, again to second floor to get acknowledgement. There it doesn't end. I was asked to go to exchange office 4 km away from there to simply hand over the telephone instrument.
This much work took 3 hours of my time at the age of 66 years.
We are in the new era of technology advancement and did not feel any difference between the past and present. This is just like an old post office..
Very SORRY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst. Not even one person is perfectly helpful. I had to walk up n down 4time 3 floors just to get papers for disconnecting the connection. As I was there so many people had problem with the recovery of the deposit and they did not even talk properly even asked about the location of rooms to submit documents. One will have good amount of exercise just to get done with one job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic situation, they have not learnt lesson still, no single counter yet, no cashless activities, multiple people to be met for one small resolution...... It's time they really shut down or hand over the reign to some private player. Assets (our tax money) being wasted

But, it is sad to see bubling office/exchange with dead atmosphere and no employees around to respond. Government is killing this mammoth organization. Shame on any Government.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to BSNL office for surrendering my mother's phone connection. I was able to complete my formalities. But found it weird that submitting the office was at one office. To surrender the instrument I had to go to another office with my mother who is a senior citizen. Why can't the formalities be kept simple. Submitting the application and surrendering at the same office. Not to forget, the office premises is litterred , reminding an office of the 40's or 50's . Not expecting the ambience to change in government offices, and cleanliness, never ,even 100 years later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have been missing the indifferent and rude behavior of sarkari office, would suggest that you pay a visit here. In Oct '20 I went there to have my landline disconnected, had been a customer for around 18 years.
All dues were cleared before the visit and they made be go up and down the building 3 - 4 times, was shouted at when I could not understand which desk to go and asked again.
Even after 3 months the balance of my deposit has not been refunded but based on what I heard from some other customers visiting the place, this is no surprise.
BSNL is in very bad shape but given the "couldn't care less" attitude of most employees, this is not at all surprising.
1 year update: Still haven't got my refund
