★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place for Picnic .You have reach Buguda,Ganjam from Berhampur side or from Nayagarh side..Then from buguda it is only 3km+ Ghati Road 3K.M=6 KM .Every time cooking utensils available for feast. But Vegetables are costly if you are planning to come here purchase all items from buguda market then come to this place .Family get together, Friends party..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buddha khola gets its name from the famous caves atop the hills near the town of Buguda in Ganjam district of Odisha.
According to historians this place once had a huge conglomeration of Buddhist monks who stayed in the caves and learned the teachings of Buddha.
According to some researchers , Buddha also came here and the famous Chinese traveller HuenTsang also visited this place.
This place is a gem of a place to relax which is situated amidst lush greenery all around. There are five temples of Lord Shiva on a flat area on the hill top and a trek of about a km and half can lead you to the famous caves too.
There is a perennial waterfall which is a great attraction for tourists from all over. They visit to take a bath. The water is believed to be rich in mineral and medicinal herbs.
To reach the temples one can trek for about a thousand stairs or can go up by vehicle on the new ghat road built by the temple administration, which takes to the top of the hills.
You can visit this place during any time of the year but the beauty of the place is magnified especially during the monsoon and winter times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place covering amazing greenery all around and lord Shiva temple in the middle. The scenic beauty is beyond world . So peaceful and you can had a great sunset view over top of the mountain. Recent years a road was made which join the base line to the top of hills. Other than that a long route through stairs is there. This directly connects to the waterfall and nearby temples.
There are 3 temples presents. if you are interested in trekking you can take another route for 3 to 4 km up from the temple which head to the buddhakhola cave. This area was named due to this cave. Where another Shiva linga was worshipped from ages.
The waterfall is also very nice one. It taste so sweet and cool.
Apart from these there more works are under processing which will take the beauty of the place to next level. There is pool also present but due to cleaning purpose it was closed during our last visit.
It is situated a few kilometres away from buguda, ganjam
You can take your bike or four wheeler , they have parking areas with no fees . No buses or public transport system is available for this area. It was recently added in the Odisha tourism site by govt. Of Odisha .
