★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my latest food hunt, I came across this bright and well lit restaurant - Bumpy's cafe. Let me tell you, even if the place is small the menu is super elaborate and is almost end to end! Keep reading and keep Getting bamboozled as you will be spoilt for choices. So I started with some delicious Chicken poutine - a very unique dish that I have come across. It is a bed of fries that has been topped with cheese and some saucy chicken that had been marinated beautifully in barbeque sauce and then microwaved as a whole.
The only drawback, since the fries have also been microwaved to get the cheese to melt, the fries tend to become soggy if you don't eat them fast enough.No one likes soggy fries, let's admit it. So if you're not open to the same, you can just request your fries to be topped with some delicious cheese sauce. It won't disappoint you for sure.
Moving on, I had the delicious crispy chilly chicken - very evenly coated dices of chicken tossed in spicy sauce topped with spring onions.
For main course, they have options in vegetable and chicken lasagna, I tried the chicken lasagna and was slightly sad about the fact that it too had vegetables in it. The flavours were great however - the pasta sheets were layered very neatly with cheese and marinara and bechamel sauces alternatively. However, my friend who loves the addition of beans and carrots to a chicken preparation really liked it.
Next, my favorite was the kitkat shake. It was so thick and there were tons of kit Kat chunks in it. It was even topped with Kit Kat.
To finish off, I had the brownie with ice cream. It was one of the best chunky chocolate brownies I've ever had . Very delicious and different textures made it even better. Do visit this place soon guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was such a great experience to be at Bumpy's cafe at new BEL road! Cozy seating in bright reds and mellow yellow lighting made for a great evening snack place. I tried the tropical cooler which tastes closely similar to a mixed fruit juice and is served in a cute Mason jar. For main course I tried the chicken lasagna which had a lot of vegetables in it as well. Considering the fact that, I like beans in my food, I really think the lasagna tasted great. It was well balanced with the poultry and greens. Also note that it is served with two slices of toasted garlic bread.
Coming to the desserts, they have a selection of jar desserts, however, it was recommended to us that we try the chunky chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and I still feel that was the best decision ever. The brownie was deliciously moist and indeed had chunky chocolate in it. The prices are pocket friendly. I would any day choose to be here for an evening solace.
