★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had ordered a bunch of stuff on my Mom's birthday but it was on Holi which apart from being a holiday, it's a little risky to be on the road.
We had a few disjointed to and fro messaging on Whatsapp and then finally it was all planned and ordered.
The idli, sambar and chutney was real good. Sambar had lots of veggies. I don't know why I assumed that Red Chutney would be red coconut chutney but what they provided was equally good. Next time, I will ask if other coconut chutneys are available.
The second set was idiappam and chicken curry. Both amazing. Chicken curry was a little thicker than what I wanted. But good taste and good chicken with the right amount of teekha.
Next time, I plan to ensure I talk to Ranjit before I place the order, so a little customization can be made.

The food received was very neatly packed and of high quality.
The taste of each and every item was very authentic and amazing ! It left us nostalgic about the original South Indian food.
Kudos to a Ranjit Nair and his team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love South Indian food and I have tried it out at various places in Pune. But the best experience I have had is with Cafe Idli. What they serve is very authentic and truly tasty. The idlis are soft and light and the chutneys and sambar are absolutely spot on. Everything that I have tried right from the wadas, iddiyappams, appams, chicken curry is something I would order again and again. Their packaging is good and delivery is on time. I have already ordered a number of times from them and am already looking forward to my next order. Thank you Cafe Idli and Ranjit Nair!!

#Cafe_Idli, a delivery kitchen, I had seen an intro post for this on #PEO and at that very moment I decided to order something someday. So, we ordered this mom made food last Saturday for #brunch.
What we ordered?
Paal Payasam - 500ml
Egg curry - 500gms
3 Appam
Podi idli box
Paid : 532Rs. via GPay total VFM
Parcel reached us well, without any leakage. The Appam and podi idlis were soft and warm till it reached us. Both, chutneys red & white were too tasty and authentic.
And, what should I write about the Kerala style #EggCurry & #Payasam ?
Curry was thick and perfectly spicy. All masalas were used in right quantity. I'm glad it tastes this good & different than usual ones.
Payasam, the vermicelli & milk based dessert kheer was out of the world. Rich, full of dry fruits, thick and right sweet. It was a delicious sweet delight. #Authentic to core ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe Idli Pune, has got everything from soup to nuts in authentic Kerala cuisine. Whenever I want to feel the taste of Kerala, I order something from them. Once, they even made me feel proud by serving delicious Kerala Sadya for a party with my colleagues at home.
When I started working from home, and was forced to cook QID, I subscribed to their tiffin service. And I think this was the greatest thing since sliced bread. They offer a well-balanced, delicious, home cooked food at a very reasonable price. Not only that sticks to my ribs, but also fills my heart. You can customize the food the way you want - less spicy, less oily, you name it - they've got it for you. They're very attentive - your feedback is valued.
Highly recommended. It's worth your salt. I'm blown away!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my kids birthday & as guest were little kids i didn't wanted to have anything oily or spicy so decided Idli as our menu. And i found about Cafe Idli who delivers food at home. So i called them up n checked if they can deliver at my location n 1 day before placed the order for Idli, White Chutney, Red Chutney and Sambar. It was delivered b4 time. Payment was done after the delivery. Packaging was good.
Kids really loved Idli and White Chutney... Adults enjoyed all the food item. Idli's were soft and White Chutney was soo yummy that it was finished in no time... Thank you Cafe Idli for Amazing food. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Keralite food is hands down one of the most flavoursome and soulful food of India, and may be even in the world. But finding authentic food is quite hard in Pune unless you have a Keralite friend. This is where Cafe Idli comes in, they serve authentic Keralite cuisine and deliver all over Pune. You do have to order 1 day prior, though, but a little planning never hurt anyone!
I received the food, hot and fresh, delivered by the owner, Ranjit, himself. I couldn't wait to try it.
Rassam - Intense, spicy and sour rassam, with a beautiful hit of spice. The dried red chillis just delivering the goods. I'm sure it can cure the worst of the flu's in an instant.
Podi Appe - Little balls of heaven, rich with fragrant coconut oil and stuffed as well as topped with podi and curry leaves. Just absolutely flavour packed and satisfying stuff.
Kerala Chicken Curry - Absolutely mind blowing. So wonderfully spicious and flavour dense. Thick curry singing with curry leaves, smokey dried red chilli and black pepper. Juicy chicken on bone. One of the most soul satisfying curries I've ever had in my life. Served with crispy and flaky parotta.
Sambar - Amazing Kerala style sambar, loads of coriander seed flavour coming through, with zero sweetness. Warm and soothing.
Idli with chutneys - Super soft and spongy idlis with delicious red and white chutneys. Just amazing stuff.
If you're craving for Keralite food, this place is the go-to! Hands down one the best I've had in Pune with very authentic taste and very value for money pricing.
