Café Seasonings - Kolkata

A cosy little place with a big heart. That's how I was introduced to this Cafe Seasonings. The space stands out for its neatly done ambience, charting out a menu that you won't usually expect with a cup of tea/coffee. From tempting finger food to big bites (burger, pasta and salads), you can be greeted by wonderful surprises. And when it comes to hygiene, this place is always a thumbs up.

So few days back I visited this place with my friends to check out this newly opened place which is in Jadavpur, few mins walking from 8B bus stand. Coming to the place, this is a small cafe but definitely worth your time and money cause hands down this place serves some mouthwatering burgers and shakes. The staffs are friendly and understandable. Coming to the food we ordered items like  1. Appetizer ( Chicken Wings )  2. Salad 3. Seasonings special Burger  4. Sandwich 5. Dessert  6. Mocktail - Calypso                      Dusk till Dawn                      Milkshake This is by far the best cafe in Jadavpur area in my opinion. If you are living in this area then what are you waiting for? Visit this place ASAP. Happy Dining.

Alright, before I go into a detailed review, firstly I would like to point out that this is not your regular "cafe". At best it is a slightly better version of a regular fast food joint. 1) Food:- Mocktails and Choco Fudge Shake were spectacular. Almost better than any top notch cafe. The Tandoori Sandwich was also nice and one gets 2 slices (4 Half pairs) for Rs 129. The Pizza Italiano was great except for the base which was bland bread without any fillings. And as for Desserts...LoL.. They didn't have any! 2) Ambience: Don't expect much. There is huge space constraint here. It can accommodate only 10 ppl in 5x2 seating arrangement. I can understand that not much space could be spared to make this cafe & consequently the ambience takes a dip because of this. Still good efforts have been made to keep the inside nice and compfy. 3) Service: SLOW. I think this is probably because of Covid situation that they may have lack of manpower, but service needs to be improved. When we visited there were in total 3 tables occupied (6 ppl) and serving time was roughly 25 mins/dish ordered. So this needs improvement. 4) Price: Not too high and not too low, but yes relatively cheaper compared to regular upscale cafes. 5) BIGGEST DRAWBACK: They DO NOT accept card payment of any sort. (Told ya not a regular cafe!) There is no facility to pay by card here, nor by PayTM. Only GPay is there. This was a shocker to me, especially at the end when I was about to settle the bill I came to know of this. And I had to scrape through my wallet to find notes (I carry very less cash) and it was even more embarrassing for me because I had brought someone with me to whom I was supposed to give a treat, but in the end I had to ask that person for money. This was a total bummer and mainly behind the 3 star rating. Probably the only cafe I have been to so far where card payments are not accepted. Enclosing below is the bill which they gave us. You can see its a simple handwritten one and not a regular computer printed one. Verdict: If you are on a tight budget and want to have some good food inside an AC room, this place is for you. The food is good. That is the only takeaway. But don't expect much of anything else. In short, this cafe is able to earn its daily bread only because of the absence of any other cafes in the surrounding area. In any other place such as Jodhpur Park or Golpark, it would have closed its shutters by now. Overall Giving it 3/5. Good, but with a lot of room for improvement. Hope this helps.

Well managed .. Authentic style and tasty foods available at pocket friendly prices.. Seasonings Cafe is a good place for every mood and age groups...

So few days ago, I visited this newly opened cafe which is loacted near the famous 8B Bus Stand. 5 mins walking distance from 8B Bus Stand. This is a small cafe with delicious food, the seating arrangement is only for 5-6 people. The ambience was okayish. Coming to the food part, we ordered: ▪︎Peruvian Salad ▪︎Pickleback Chicken Wings ▪︎Seasonings Special Burger ▪︎Seasonings Special Sandwich ▪︎Tres Capas ▪︎Mocktails: 1. Calypso 2. Sunset Till Dawn ▪︎Fudge Brownie Milkshake All the items tasted extremely good. According to me this is one of the best cafe's in Jadavpur area. The staffs were also humble and cooperative and their service was quick. I will be visiting this cafe again and will give more updates. Thank You. Happy Dining.

This is a new cafe near Jadavpur 8b bus stand. This is a very cosy place and the owner personally takes care of each customer. They have a wide range of options in their menu, from which I tried : 1. Crispy chicken burger: the burger bun was soft and moist. The chicken patty was crispy. The stuffing was juicy and I loved the use of Cuban spices in it. The layer of bacon made it taste really delicious. 2. Ham cheese sandwich - the sandwich tasted great with a thick layer of ham, cheese and veggies. It was a cheesy and meaty affair and I loved it. 3. Southwestern pasta - The pasta was cooked in tomato sauce with chicken, broccoli, bell peppers and cheese. The flavour was really good. I tried three mocktails : • Berrylicious - it had a wonderful flavour of berries. • La Pina - this was a blend of pineapple and mango. I absolutely loved it. This was my favorite. • El Patron - this is a Columbian mocktail. It was fizzy and very refreshing. Overall, I loved the food and hospitality at Seasonings. The cafe might look small but it is a hidden gem that serves amazing food.

This is a new cafe at Jadavpur near 8B bus stand. A Small Cafe with Delicious Food.Lets talk about the Ambience, pretty normal ambience and small sitting arrangement, harder 16-18 seating place as it is a very small cafe. Now come to the food which made me Shocked. Firstly we took Peruvian Salad which was one of the best non veg salad i had till date.I loved the combination of the jalapeno and honey mustard which was the perfect.It Costs 150 rupees. Then comes Pickleback Chicken Wings- Crispy and Savory Spices Combination with the Chicken Wings. It really delicious and it will cost you only 140 rupees. Here comes my favourite Burgers till date, from my side its the best burgers in kolkata. Seasonings Special Burgers(Chicken, Ham, Bacon and Double patty). As it looks Tasty and Delicious, it is also the same in taste. i love these two burgers and i will get this every time when i visit this place. i recommend all of you to try these two burgers once and i promise you that you will not regret. It costs only 169 rupees each. Coming to the sanwich and Mocktalis, Seasonings Special Sanwich. It Might look Simple but its taste didn't disappoint me. The inside portions of chicken, mixed together with the cilantro mayo dip and put inside two soft portion of breads.It costs 149 rupees. The Mocktails Look really colourful and refreshing. Calypso- Made of Three layers of kiwi, grenadine and soft drink.It will cost 95 rupees And Sunset till Drawn- An orangebase with citrus giving it a refreshing. It costs 90 rupees. Finally its time for everyones favourite, Dessert. Tres Capas- Sweet, buttery and soft Triple Chocolate Cake arranged in three layers of fruit and chocolate rack. I love the combination of the Layers. It will cost only 120 rupees. Lastly milkshake- Fudge Brownie, milkshake made out of chocolate fudge and crushed brownies with topped with a big lump of chocolate brownie. This cafe made me full of surprises. The food takes it all. "Never Judge a Book by Its cover". If the ambience is giving the negative vibes to you, dont judge the food. The food is really tasty, it will remain in your mind that this place servers really tasty food. Once you try it. I will visit this place again when i will go to Jadavpur.

What you can't miss? Peruvian Salad - This is a wonderful salad made of chicken and vegetables that is so full of flavor. I loved the combination of the jalapeno and honey mustard which was the perfect . Pickleback Chicken Wings - A combination of savory spices like paprika, cayenne and onion powder play well with the salty, tangy pickle brine. The addition of a little honey and brown sugar gives the chicken wings a gorgeous, crispy glaze. Seasonings special Burger - The amazing Chicken patty grilled and teamed up ham and bacon makes the burger all the more good! Tres capas - Sweet, buttery and soft Triple Chocolate Cake arranged in three layers of fruit and chocolate rack. Calypso - Chilled glass in the grenadine syrup, and garnished with the orange slice and maraschino cherries. Absolutely Tropical. So let this winters be happening and lively, visit the Seasonings Cafe ta fall prey to global cuisine love.
